I am a baby sleep training consultant in Derbyshire. I live with my partner and our young son and we have known sleep deprivation and come out of the other side!
I spent my maternity leave as a first time mum in lockdown. After 10 years of trying to start a family and then IVF we had our miracle baby and whilst we were over the moon and loved him more than anything, we were struggling with broken sleep, feeling anxious, not knowing the right thing to do when our son would wake up repeatedly every night. Sometimes within an hour of finally getting him down to sleep.
I would have no time in the evenings to just sit down and relax with my partner and I wasn't getting a break in the day due to my son only contact napping. I was touched out, exhausted and struggling to heal after labour, I felt broken. I had no where to turn to for support and so I decided to study to become a paediatric sleep consultant. From there I helped people who were in the same situation we were in and fell in love with everything related to sleep and health.
Most nights he would wake every-single-hour. The world was living through a global pandemic and we just wanted our family to be as healthy as possible and I knew that meant we all needed our sleep! Gradual, responsive sleep training saved our nights, helped us all get the sleep we needed and kept us healthy and thriving. I moved feeds earlier before his bedtime, gradually moved from feeding him to sleep each time he woke to offering other forms of comfort and observed when he was tired for naps rather than using generic wake windows on different apps. His silent reflux got better and he started to sleep for much longer periods of time.
Maternity leave isn't a holiday.... as a new mum you are providing care for your new baby, adapting to life as a new family and (just as importantly) recovering from labour.
Throw in sleep deprivation and it can feel so lonely.

We all wake in the night. Sometimes the wake up is so brief we don't even remember it.
As parents it isn't our job to stop our child from waking, they can easily wake at the end of a sleep cycle, but what we can do is support them to learn how to easily Fall asleep again should they wake up too soon. Reducing the need to Put them to sleep each time.
I specialise in supporting babies aged 4-14 months to Fall asleep (self settle) rather than have to be Put to sleep, using a gradual and responsive approach over 2-3 weeks. I use an approach known as Comfort through Change.
You will be next to your baby for the first 3-7 nights and gradually do less, allowing your baby to do more and feel comfortable. Many families see positive results within the first week.
I design a sleep routine tailored to YOUR family, created to fit YOUR baby's individual sleep needs, rather than a generic "one size fits all" style of support, taking into consideration development and lifestyle schedules.
When I help families my support is personalised around real information on their baby's sleep, based on my comprehensive online sleep questionnaire to understand your family's current situation and challenges, and the data you provide via an easy to use sleep app to log your baby's sleep and feeding schedule.
This combined information then allows me best help you and your unique baby.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Once you have completed the consultation you will not be refunded. If you cancel 24 hours prior to the consultation you will be fully refunded. Within 24 hours of the consultation you will be refunded 50% of your sleep package price. If I have to terminate our contract, I will refund the remaining days of unused support.
